The SingGC a cappella event is back this June 2018 after last year’s great success.

Register today for your four free workshop sessions, where you will learn tips and techniques to help develop or find your voice.

Whatever your experience has been with singing in the past, SingGC focuses on the aspects that create a rich harmonised sound when we come together and have fun singing popular songs.

CAR PARKING

Free car parking is available in the Clinic Carpark on Health Drive.  A SingGC team member will be at the boom gates to give you access from 6:30 pm, then take the stairs to the entrance of the G40 Health Centre.  Disabled parking is available by the building entrance.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Bus and Gold Coast Light Rail stations are located in the Griffith University Campus precinct.  The nearest train station is Helensvale.

Where is the event being held?

Workshops are held at the Griffith University Gold Coast Campus in the Health Centre Building (G40).  The Auditorium on Level 4 is where you’ll find us.  A map is included on our home page. 

How do I get to the venue?

There are a number of public transport options available, including bus and light rail.  If you are arriving by car, parking is free for those who have registered for the SingGC event.  Disabled car parking is also available by the building entrance.  Please see the map on the home page for details.

What do I need to bring?

Comfortable shoes and clothing, and water to keep your vocal muscles hydrated.

What is "a cappella"?

A cappella is a style of music where people (often four or more) sing in harmony together without any musical instruments. 

Do I need to be able to read music?

No, not at all.

What if I’ve never been in a choir?

We welcome beginners, people new to singing, and those new to singing in a choir.  It is a fun, supportive and all-inclusive environment.

Your name, phone number and email address will be used to contact you in the lead-up to and during the workshop series.  Your information is not used for future marketing purposes, and will not be passed on to third-party data providers.
