What music/songs do you sing?

We like to sing popular songs in the a cappella style.  Some old, some new, some upbeat tunes and ballads. 

Where is SingGC located?

Events and regular chorus rehearsals are held at the Griffith University Gold Coast Campus in the Health Centre Building (G40) on Level 4.

How do I get to the venue?

There are a number of public transport options available, including bus and light rail.  If you are arriving by car, parking is free for those who have registered.  Disabled car parking is also available by the building entrance.  Please see the map on the home page for details.

What is "a cappella"?

A cappella is a style of music where people (often in four or more parts) sing in harmony together without any musical instruments.

What do I need to bring?

Comfortable shoes and clothing, and water to keep your vocal muscles hydrated.

Do I need to be able to read music?

No, not at all.

What if I’ve never been in a choir?

We welcome beginners, people new to singing, and those new to singing in a choir.  It is a fun, supportive and all-inclusive environment.

How will you use my personal details from the registration page?

Your name, phone number and email address will be used to contact you in the lead-up to and during the workshop series.  You will also automatically be subscribed to the Blender Chorus mailing list however you can choose to opt out at any time.
